This is a clear presentation of an evangelistic message by the lord.

Read John 4:1-42 In this passage, you will consider Jesus’ encounter with a Samaritan woman. This is a clear presentation of an evangelistic message by the Lord. You will also consider Jesus’ dialogue with His disciples following the evangelistic encounter. Please reflect on how Jesus used the encounter as a teaching opportunity with his disciples and how he might be teaching you by the Holy Spirit relating to the record of that encounter. While the content of this discussion is not graded, you are expected to actively engage the reading and questions. To fail to do so could result in less than full credit.

I know that this essay is about a site visit and that you may not be in the area of the specific church i mentioned, but i think it would be ok for the paper to be more describing the ideas and general experience in that religion vs actual interviews.

This paper will be a religious site visit paper on I religion I’m not a part of, in this case, I picked Christianity and the site I picked was a Church called St. Agatha Catholic Church. The instructions on this are attached. I’ve also attached the earlier assignments that the class had me do to prepare me for the paper. This is to help you get a feel for the writing I do and the style of the professor. Lastly, the professor specifically asked to have any direct quotes or citations separate from the 1200-word count. Also of the sources used four must be scholarly. I know that this essay is about a site visit and that you may not be in the area of the specific Church I mentioned, but I think it would be ok for the paper to be more describing the ideas and general experience in that religion vs actual interviews.
p.s. Please message me if you have any questions that we can discuss if you need more information.

If not, why not?

I included the “Selby Romance and the Male Secular Body” article that I need reviewed. I also included an example article review. The review should be around 2 pages long.
Here are some possible steps that you can follow in developing your analysis (I emphasize “possible”
because these are suggested questions rather than a fixed template. Some questions will be more
relevant to some articles than others.)
1. Identify and briefly describe the topic and central argument of the article. What is the subject matter
of the essay? What argument does the author make about the material? What other possible arguments
and interpretations does the article attempt to refute?
2. Discuss how the author supports the essay’s argument. How does the essay’s argument unfold? What
sources does the author use? Why would these sources be relevant to the argument of the essay? How
would you characterize the academic approach (ie., historical, sociological, anthropological, literary
critical)?
3. Develop your own analysis of the article’s persuasiveness and success in accomplishing its goal. Do
you believe the essay’s argument in convincing? If so, why? If not, why not? What other kinds of
questions might the article have considered that would have been relevant to the essay? What kinds of
contributions might this essay make to the study of religion? That is, what kinds of broader problems
does the article help to explain (or fail to explain)?
Paper Format
The paper should approximate the style of an academic book review. This means that your heading
should be a bibliographic citation of the article (any style is fine) followed by a line stating “Reviewed By
[Your name].” One difference in format from an academic book review is that while most are single
spaced, the text of your paper should be double spaced (although the header citation can be single
spaced).
So your paper should begin like this:
Author Last Name, Author First Name. “Article Title.” Journal Title volume number (Publication Date):
page numbers.

Years ago, a major editorial in the Seattle Times claimed that the primary divide among Americans is one of worldview. Indeed, we have seen that three major worldviews constitute the major struggle or the hearts and minds of people all around us. The fundamental debate today is not the truth of Christianity, though that is still important. The basic issue of dispute is whether or not we can know that Christianity is true.
With that in mind answer the next two questions. You may use any sources but please cite them.
1. What are some crucial areas where pointing out another’s violation of self-refutation would help Christians in this worldview struggle? Can you name a claim or two where Christians have erroneously labeled it as self-refuting and state why the claim is not self-refuting?
2. Explain simple seeing and provide your own assessment as to whether or not it is important for assessing the relative merits of different worldviews.
