Discuss at least two evidence-based treatments and interventions (e.g., medications, therapies)

Chances are, you will be caring for someone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, either on the job or in your personal life. Preparation is everything! For this assignment, your task is to create a 10-12-slide educational intervention to prepare new and potential caregivers of Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s patients for what to expect in caring for an older loved one.
Include the following content in your educational intervention:
Provide a minimum of three common age-related cognitive changes (e.g., neurons, cortex, white matter).
Discuss at least two evidence-based treatments and interventions (e.g., medications, therapies)
Discuss some common challenges faced by caregivers (e.g., financial, physical, emotional)
After exploring several websites related to memory loss, including dementia and Alzheimer’s (see course resources), share four to six community resources (including virtual) you believe are most valuable. Note: Include resources for the patient and the caregiver. Be sure to include links to the resources in your assignment and reference list.

You can also make up something if you prefer.

Answer the following: During your readings this week on Intrinsic Motivation and Types of Extrinsic Motivation, you will notice in the lecture slides that under the section SELF-DETERMINATION THEORY, there is an activity discussed. After reading about self-determination theory and the types of motivation, please look at table 6.2 (in the older edition) or table 5.1 in the new edition, which features an example of the 4 types of extrinsic motivation illustrating different reasons why people recycle. On your own, come up with your own issue (ex: why do I recycle – but don’t use recycle as it’s in your text) and provide an example of each type of extrinsic motivation, the external contingency at stake, the reason you do the issue, and an illustrative statement. Follow the format of the table in your text. You can start with any behavior that you do (I gave you the example of recycling and calling grandma, but it can be anything that you do that you value). You can also make up something if you prefer. (SHOULD BE SLIDE 13 AND 14)

They could be worse than the letters that could be something if you put them together.

Case Study: The Case of Alan and His Teacher He always wanted to say things. But no one understood He always wanted to explain things. No one cared, so he drew. Sometimes he would just draw, and it wasn’t anything. He wanted to carve it in stone or write it in the sky He would lie out on the grass and look up in the sky, and it would be only him and the sky and things inside that needing saying And it was after that, that he drew the picture. It was a beautiful picture. He kept it under the pillow, and would let no one see it. And he would look at it every night and think about it. When it was dark, and his eyes were closed, he could still see it. And it was all of him, and he loved it. When he started school, he brought it with him, not to show anyone, but just to have with him like a friend. It was funny about school. He sat in a square, brown desk like all the other square, brown desks, and he thought it should be red. His room was square brown room, like all the other rooms. It was tight and close. And stiff. He hated to hold the pencil and the chalk, with his arm stiff and his feel flat on the floor, stiff, with the teacher watching and watching. Then he had to write numbers, and they weren’t anything. They could be worse than the letters that could be something if you put them together. The numbers were tight and square and he hated the whole thing. The teacher came and spoke to him. She told him to wear a tie like all the other boys. He said he didn’t like to, and she said it didn’t matter. And that they drew. He drew all yellow, and it was the way he felt about the morning, and it was beautiful. The teacher came and smiled at him. “What is this?” she said. “Isn’t that beautiful?” It was all questions. After that his mother bought him a tie, and he always drew airplanes and rocket ships like everyone else. He threw the old picture away. And when he lay out alone looking at the sky, it was big, and blue and all of everything, but he wasn’t anymore. I stopped pushing. It was crushed and still like everyone else.

Your presentation should be between 6 and 8 slides in length (4 to 6 slides for content, in addition to an introduction slide, as well as a references slide).

Instructions Imagine that you have been hired as a consultant to create a leadership development program for new managers. What major topics will you cover in the training? What training method(s) will you use and why? How will you evaluate the effectiveness of your training program? Use scholarly sources in addition to the Module Resources. -Principles of an Effective Presentation:  You may utilize a product such as Microsoft’s PowerPoint or Google Presentation to create your presentation.  There are various template designs that you can find on the web for your presentation. However, first consider your presentation from the perspective of your audience prior to selecting a specific style. Distracting backgrounds, large blocks of text, all uppercase fonts, elaborate font styles, grammatical errors, and misspellings are distracting. Be consistent with the style of text, bullets, and sub-points in order to support a powerful presentation that allows your content to be the focus.  Each slide should include your key point(s). Do not place large blocks of text on the visual. Your presentation is not a means of presenting a short paper. In an actual presentation you would not “read” from your slides but rather use them as prompts.  Any notes or narration you would use in delivering this presentation to a group should be listed in the “notes” section of theslide.  References should be listed at the bottom of the slide in slightly smaller text.  Use clip art, AutoShapes, pictures, charts, tables, and diagrams to enhance but not overwhelm your content.  Be mindful of the intended audience and seek to assess the presentation’s effectiveness by gauging audience comprehension (when possible) : Use Microsoft PowerPoint or another tool of your choice to create your presentation. When applicable, discipline-appropriate citations must be used. But i need a starting point on how to make an outline to start off with.

For this Portfolio Project option, at the end of this course, you will record and submit, via Sibme, a 50-minute Training Session. For this week specifically, submit an outlined plan of what your training session will look like. Be sure to discuss what topic will be addressed during the session and whether it will be focused on family therapy, couples, or both. Your outline should conform to APA guidelines. My topic is about infidelity in a marriage focusing on the couple, with no children involvement currently. I want to focus on the three structured treatment phases: Atonement, Attunement, and Attachment. But i need a starting point on how to make an outline to start off with. THANK you in advance!
